Happy birthday to this beautiful friend of mine! When I was a volunteer in Bolivia, she went out of her way to help me feel at home. We became great friends and soon discovered our mutual love of travel. We traveled all over Bolivia, and then to Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brasil. Through traveling with her, I have gotten to see her for who she really is. A kind, caring, thoughtful and introspective person who deeply cares about humanity, and at the same time is the most easy going, funny, and light-hearted travel companion. Although we live thousands of miles apart and don't see each other often, the incredible experiences we share will always bind us together. Happy birthday my dear Carmen! I love you!

Feliz cumpleaños a esta hermosa amiga mía! Cuando fui voluntaria en Bolivia, ella hizo que me sintiera como si estuviera en mi casa. Nos convertimos en muy buenas amigas, y pronto descubrimos nuestra afición mutual: los viajes. Viajamos por todo Bolivia y también a Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, y Brasil. Al viajar juntas, descubrí a la persona que realmente ella es. Es una persona buena, cariñosa, considerada, introspectiva, que le importa mucho la humanidad, y al mismo tiempo es compañera de viaje que no se hace problema de nada, muy divertida y desenfadada. Aunque vivimos a muchos kilómetros de distancia y no nos vemos frequentemente, las experiencias increíbles que hemos tenido juntas siempre nos unirán. Feliz cumpleaños mi querida carmen!
